The Economics of Climate Change in Tanzania
The development partners group, with support from UK (DFID) Government, are funding this study on the ‘Economics of Climate Change in the United Republic of Tanzania’. The methodology emphasises national ownership and long-term sustainability through the inclusion of national bodies, and a collaborative partnership approach with local teams.  

The objectives of the project are to:

  •   Assess the impacts and economics costs of climate change in Tanzania.
  •   Assess the costs and benefits of adaptation
  •   Assess pathways of low carbon growth.
